Redskins | Keith Marshall done for season

Washington Redskins rookie RB Keith Marshall (elbow) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Aug. 30.

Footballguys View: A seventh-round pick out of Georgia this year, Marshall was an intriguing dynasty prospect. This elbow injury wasn’t supposed to be that serious, but perhaps Washington just wanted to clear up a roster spot. Without Marshall in the backfield, UDFA Rob Kelley is going to be the primary backup behind Matt Jones. Washington could always bring in another RB if need be.

Jets | Brandon Marshall injury not a big deal

New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall’s (hip) injury to his hip is not a concern, according to head coach Todd Bowles.

Footballguys View: Just like we thought. Marshall is being held out of practice, and he’s not going to play in the team’s fourth preseason game. He should be good to go for Week 1 of the regular season, and you’ll start him at his normal WR1 level.
