Ravens | Four Ravens cut
Baltimore Ravens WR Dobson Collins, WR Chuck Jacobs, QB Jerrod Johnson and WR Darius X. White were cut Monday, Aug. 29.
Footballguys View: Johnson is a big-armed QB who can’t throw it into the ocean standing on the beach. He’s bounced around a bit and is running out of chances to make it in the NFL.
Ravens | Two Ravens to IR
Baltimore Ravens TE Benjamin Watson (Achilles’) and CB Kyle Arrington (undisclosed) were placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Aug. 29.
Colts | Three Colts cut
Indianapolis Colts TE Konrad Reuland, WR Daniel Anthrop and RB Trey Williams were cut Monday, Aug. 29.
Footballguys View: The Colts added Stevan Ridley, so letting go of Williams isn’t that much of a surprise. He’s a compact runner who could latch on with another team as a practice squad/developmental player at least.
Redskins | Keith Marshall out three weeks
Washington Redskins RB Keith Marshall (elbow) will miss three weeks before being re-evaluated, according to a source.
Footballguys View: Bad news for the rookie RB here. Marshall was competing for a spot on the depth chart behind starter Matt Jones. With Jones (shoulder) missing most of the preseason, Marshall had an opportunity to showcase his talent. Now that he’s suffered an injury, Rob Kelley may end up as the Week 1 starter if Jones is not ready.
