He still projects as a top 5 tight end upon his return, perhaps as high as #3 at a tight end position that lost Ladarius Green during the preseason. If your rosters are large enough to keep Eifert until October without losing waiver wire flexibility, he could be a wise pick in the 8th-9th round when combined with a later sleeper tight end to cover the first 4-6 games.
