Bears | Jeremy Langford wants to be featured
Chicago Bears RB Jeremy Langford (foot) believes he’s improving at being a complete running back and would like to be a three-down back for the Bears this season. Langford cited improvements in playing through contact, catching the football and his pass-blocking ability as factors in him becoming a better player. Additionally, Langford said his recent foot injury feels good and is getting better.

Cardinals | Larry Fitzgerald’s status uncertain
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is not participating in practice Thursday, Aug. 25, and head coach Bruce Arians said he is not sure if Fitzgerald will be able to play in the preseason game against the Houston Texans Sunday, Aug. 28.

Texans | Nick Martin out four months
Updating a previous report, Houston Texans C Nick Martin (ankle) is expected to miss four months after undergoing ankle surgery, according to sources. He likely will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list but could bring him back to practice after six weeks.
Footballguys View: This is a brutal look for the offensive line to kick off the season. Derek Newton is battling a hamstring injury and Duane Brown has a quadriceps injury which may keep him on the PUP to start the season.
