Broncos | Devontae Booker solid in first start
Denver Broncos rookie RB Devontae Booker (shoulder) rushed 19 times for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the San Diego Chargers, and he added five receptions for 30 yards on six targets. He left the game briefly due to a shoulder injury, but was able to return and finish up.
Broncos | Kayvon Webster banged up
Denver Broncos CB Kayvon Webster (hamstring) left the Week 8 game against the San Diego Chargers due to a hamstring injury.
Jets | Bilal Powell scores in victory
New York Jets RB Bilal Powell rushed six times for 76 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns, and he added a three-yard reception on three targets.
Footballguys View: Powell is over his toe issue and it showed on Sunday with his speed and maneuverability against the Browns. He’s a low ceiling flex, emergency depth, and an upside handcuff to Matt Forte going forward.
Jets | Four grabs for Brandon Marshall
New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall (foot) posted four receptions for 68 yards in the Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns. He was targeted nine times.
Footballguys View: Marshall failed to crush a matchup that was almost a sure thing for good offensive players this year. He’s not a WR1 heading into Miami, but he could easily put up a WR1 week against the good matchup.
Jets | Quincy Enunwa posts 93 yards, TD
New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa racked up four receptions for a season-high 93 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns. He was targeted a team-high 11 times.
Footballguys View: Enunwa is emerging as a viable NFL starting wide receiver while Eric Decker is out. His aggressive runner, physical style and good speed stand out and make him a matchup WR3/Flex and good bench depth going forward. He’s worth a look at Miami next week.
Jets | Matt Forte finds end zone twice
New York Jets RB Matt Forte (knee) rushed 25 times for 82 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns and he added two receptions for 16 yards on three targets.
Footballguys View: Forte was stuck in the garage as the Jets started slow, but he came through against the Browns like so many other backs have this year. Time to sell high as he heads to Miami next week.
