Buffalo Bills RB Mike Gillislee (foot) is expected to play in Week 8 even though he is listed as questionable. Gillislee may be the starting running back if RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) is ruled out.

San Diego Chargers practice squad WR Isaiah Burse was added to the active roster Saturday, Oct. 29. The team also waived CB Pierre Desir.

Denver Broncos C Matt Paradis (hip) still has a chance to play in Week 8 even though he did not practice this week, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Kubiak said Paradis has played with this injury before.

Minnesota Vikings QB Taylor Heinicke (foot) likely will be activated from the Non-Football Injury list after the team’s Week 9 game, according to a source. Heinicke has been participating in practice since last week.

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery will likely draw Minnesota Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes for the bulk of their Week 8 matchup Monday, Oct. 29.

Footballguys View: Rhodes is going to be tested early and often in this matchup. QB Jay Cutler is back in the starting lineup for the Bears, and he loves peppering Jeffery with passes throughout the game. We’ve got Jeffery as a high-end WR2 this week.

Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings S Andrew Sendejo (ankle) will not play in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears.

Footballguys View: McKinnon didn’t practice all week, so this is not a surprise. Against a weak Bears defense, Matt Asiata should be able to put up RB2 numbers on Monday night.

Chicago Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe) did not practice this week and is listed as doubtful for Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Footballguys View: It will be interesting to see how the targets are distributed by QB Jay Cutler in this tough matchup against the Vikings. We know WR Alshon Jeffery should get plenty of looks, but what about guys like WR Cameron Meredith and TE Zach Miller? We’ve got Meredith as a WR3 with upside and Miller as a high-end TE2 in Week 8.
