Jaguars | Jacksonville fires Greg Olson

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Greg Olson was relieved of his duties Saturday, Oct. 29. Quarterbacks coach Nathaniel Hackett has been named as his successor.

Footballguys View: With Blake Bortles struggling to do much of anything outside of garbage time, something had to give with the Jaguars. Olson paid little attention to the rushing attack — even when it was on track — so it will be interesting to see how Hackett treats his RBs. It will be even more fascinating if Hackett is able to get Bortles to perform better than he has this season.

Cowboys | Dez Bryant feeling good

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (knee) believes he hasn’t lost a step as far as his conditioning goes and believes the tibial plateau fracture in his right leg that sidelined him for the last three games is ‘nothing compared to the foot’ injury that dogged him for most of the 2015 season.

Footballguys View: Bryant is back this week as the team has been wisely cautious with their star receiver during his recovery. Against the Eagles in Week 8, Bryant should be considered a WR3 by fantasy owners. The Cowboys may ease Bryant back into action with a larger workload to follow in the coming weeks.
