New Orleans Saints DT Nick Fairley was fined $9,115 by the National Football League for an unnecessary roughness penalty committed in the fourth quarter of Week 7’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Fairley body-slammed RB Spencer Ware, thinking he was the ball carrier on a rushing play for WR Tyreek Hill.
Jaguars | Malik Jackson fined
Jacksonville Jaguars DT Malik Jackson was fined $24,309 by the National Football League for unsportsmanlike conduct during Week 7’s game against the Oakland Raiders. Jackson received two penalties in the fourth quarter and was ejected after the second infraction.
Dolphins | Jarvis Landry fined
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry was fined $24,309 by the National Football League for his hit on FS Aaron Williams (head, neck) in Week 7’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Landry committed a high crack-back block on Williams, which led to him being hospitalized for neck and back injuries.

Miami Dolphins CB Byron Maxwell was fined $9,115 by the National Football League for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty committed late in Week 7’s victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Houston Texans LB Jadeveon Clowney (elbow) said he will start in Week 8’s game against the Detroit Lions. He was limited in practice throughout the week and is listed as questionable on the injury report.
Falcons | Dwight Freeney a game-time decision
Atlanta Falcons DE Dwight Freeney (quadriceps) will be a game-time decision for Week 8’s game against the Green Bay Packers. He has not practiced all week and is listed as questionable on the injury report. However, head coach Dan Quinn said Freeney has made significant progress and will take part in the walk-through Saturday, Oct. 29.

New York Giants DE Owamagbe Odighizuwa was fined $12,154 by the National Football League for his role in a fake photo touchdown celebration in Week 7’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Packers | Clay Matthews fined
Green Bay Packers LB Clay Matthews has been fined $18,231 by the National Football League for roughing the passer in Week 7’s game against the Chicago Bears. Matthews led with the crown of his helmet on the hit which ended the season of Chicago Bears QB Brian Hoyer (forearm), resulting in a broken left forearm.
