Footballguys View: Montgomery is almost a must play as long as he is active. He has 10 catches in back to back games and should see some time as a running back too, including in the red zone.

New England Patriots TE Martellus Bennett (ankle) missed practice Friday, Oct. 28, and is listed as questionable for Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills.

Footballguys View: Bennett was spotted with a brace on his ankle. He might miss the game against the Bills, which would boost the potential targets for Julian Edelman, James White, and Chris Hogan.

Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Friday, Oct. 28.

Footballguys View: Devontae Booker looks like a rest of season RB1 as the starter in the Broncos running game, which is gelling and should get good game scripts because of the quality of their defense. Kapri Bibbs becomes the backup and he’s worth carrying in deep leagues. Anderson could return for the playoffs, but it is unlikely.

Footballguys View: Cobb has a high ceiling with his fit in the Packers new spread, quick-strike offense, especially with the chance to get snaps at running back, but he could be limited or re-injure his hamstring during the game. We’ll be watching this one closely.

Atlanta Falcons DE Dwight Freeney (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 28, and is listed as questionable for Week 8. WR Taylor Gabriel (concussion), CB C.J. Goodwin (hamstring) and OT Jake Matthews (wrist) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) said he expects to play in the team’s Week 8 game Sunday, Oct. 30, against the Carolina Panthers. Head coach Bruce Arians also believes Brown will suit up as well.

Footballguys View: Brown could have a big game with Michael Floyd a game-time decision and the Panthers weak secondary giving up huge numbers through the air this year. He’s worth a look as an upside WR3/Flex.

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) will not play in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Footballguys View: Sanu deserves some flex consideration against a Packers secondary that lost two of its top three corners to major injuries, including #1 Sam Shields and will also be without #3 corner Quinten Rollins.
