Falcons | Julio Jones will be fine

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (knee) had his knee examined after the team’s Week 8 game but will be able to play in Week 9, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

Footballguys View: Jones is getting banged up, but he’s capable of playing through these nagging injuries. We should see him limited on a short week for the Falcons. If Jones is on the field, he’s a WR1 for fantasy owners no matter who is the opponent.

Packers | Green Bay owes nothing for Knile Davis

Updating a previous report, free-agent RB Knile Davis (Packers) cost the Green Bay Packers nothing in their trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Packers had a window for releasing Davis at no cost.

Footballguys View: The Chiefs get nothing…but they could get Davis back. In fact, with RB injuries (Jamaal Charles, Spencer Ware) do not be surprised if the Chiefs bring Davis back.

Bills | LeSean McCoy progressing

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) has made progress and head coach Rex Ryan hopes McCoy will be back to practice Thursday, Nov. 3.

Footballguys View: McCoy missed the game against the Patriots in Week 8, but he should be back soon. Hamstring injuries can linger if not treated properly. The Bills travel to play the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night in Week 9.

Broncos | More tests for Devontae Booker

Denver Broncos RB Devontae Booker (shoulder) is undergoing more tests for his injured shoulder Monday, Oct. 31. There is optimism that he will be fine, however.

Footballguys View: Booker left the game briefly, but he was able to return. He scored a touchdown, but Booker only had 54 yards on 19 carries (2.8 YPC). Gary Kubiak stated the rushing game was ‘non-existent’ against the Chargers, and the team should work diligently to find a way to get Booker on track.
