Chargers | Hopeful Hunter Henry will play
Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers TE Hunter Henry (concussion) was on the practice field Wednesday, Oct. 26, and head coach Mike McCoy said he is ‘hopeful’ Henry will be able to play in Week 8 against the Denver Broncos.
Footballguys View: Henry is dealing with a concussion, and we’ll be watching his progress closely. The Broncos defense is strong, but they do struggle against TEs like Henry. Two weeks ago against Denver, Henry had six catches for 83 yards and one touchdown. That could be near what he puts up again this week if healthy.
Chargers | Jeremiah Attaochu making progress
San Diego Chargers LB Jeremiah Attaochu (ankle) is making progress in his rehab from an ankle injury, but it is too early to say if he will be able to play in Week 8 against the Denver Broncos or if he’ll need to miss his second straight game.
Cardinals | Brittan Golden could factor in

Redskins | Chris Thompson not expected to start
Washington Redskins RB Chris Thompson is not expected to start in Week 8 game against the Cincinnati Bengals in London, even if RB Matt Jones (knee) cannot start. ‘Chris (Thompson) has such an important role as far as third downs and his specialty role that we need him in that role, and he’s not a very big guy. We don’t want to give him the ball 35 times between the tackles, you know? We’d like to have a more physical guy do it.’
Redskins | Rob Kelley could be in line to start
Washington Redskins RB Rob Kelley is in line to start the Week 8 game against the Cincinnati Bengals in London if RB Matt Jones (knee) is unable to play. ‘If Matt has an issue where he can’t go, it would be Robert in the lead role, more likely,’ head coach Jay Gruden said Wednesday, Oct. 26.
