Steelers | Antonio Brown agrees to big deal

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown reached an agreement to become the NFL’s highest paid wide receiver Monday, Feb. 27, according to a source. Brown will earn more than $15 million per year.

Footballguys View: Brown is now tied to the Steelers through 2021, his age-33 season. It’s a good move for both sides as Brown gets proper market value while the Steelers continue with one of the best receivers in the NFL.

Giants | Jason Pierre-Paul does receive tag

Updating a previous report, New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul was given the franchise tag Monday, Feb. 27. The tag is expected to be around $17 million.

Footballguys View: That number is huge, so expect the Giants to work diligently to get Pierre-Paul wrapped up with a long-term contract. He wants a multi-year deal for stability, and Pierre-Paul feels he deserves one after proving himself on a one-year deal in 2016.
