Browns | Josh Gordon sticking with Cleveland?

Updating previous reports, Cleveland Browns general manager Sashi Brown said Cleveland cannot release WR Josh Gordon. ‘We’re not in a position at wide receiver to turn down a guy like Josh if we feel like he’s settled himself,’ Brown said Tuesday, March 28, at the Annual League Meeting in Phoenix, per the Akron Beacon Journal.

Footballguys View: This goes against previous reports that indicated the Browns were moving on. Head coach Hue Jackson has said he expects the team to move on from Gordon, but it’s Brown who would make that call.

Vikings | Harrison Smith opts for clean-up surgery

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings FS Harrison Smith (ankle) decided to undergo clean-up surgery on his left ankle, according to a pair of league sources.

Footballguys View: Smith missed the final two games of the 2016 regular season because of a high ankle sprain. Previous reports indicated surgery wasn’t necessary, and it is unclear when Smith had the procedure.
