Bills | Andre Holmes will join Buffalo
Free-agent WR Andre Holmes (Raiders) agreed to terms with the Buffalo Bills Saturday, March 18, according to a source. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Footballguys View: It’s finally final. Holmes hasn’t done much in recent years for the Raiders, but with the Bills he’ll have a chance to get significant playing time. There’s really no other threat behind Sammy Watkins at this time, so Holmes could play as a deep threat with the Bills.
49ers | Reuben Foster planned to meet with 49ers
Alabama LB Reuben Foster was scheduled to meet with the San Francisco 49ers Friday, March 17.
Footballguys View: Foster has drawn comparisons to Ray Lewis and Bobby Wagner during his college career at Alabama. He’s fierce, intense, intimidating and arrives at the ball-carrier with natural violence. Foster breaks down plays quickly and can stay with tight ends in coverage. He’s a first-round pick, but character concerns may cause him to fall a bit in the draft. The 49ers have the 2nd-overall pick, and we think that’s a bit too high for Foster…even though he’s incredibly talented.
