San Francisco 49ers DE DeForest Buckner played 1,005 snaps in 2016, but defensive coordinator Robert Saleh said he would like to see Buckner play around 500 to 600 snaps this season to make sure he can make an impact when he is on the field. Buckner said he was tired at times last season but would not be taken out of the game.

Minnesota Vikings LBs Edmond Robinson and Emmanuel Lamur appeared to share the snaps at weakside linebacker evenly during minicamp. Robinson received most of the work with the first-team defense when Lamur was sidelined with an injury early this offseason.

Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett (foot) is wearing a walking boot as he deals with a lateral foot sprain. He is expected to be ready for training camp, as previously reported.

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee appears to have a leg up on rookie TE Gerald Everett for the starting tight end position, in the opinion of ESPN.com’s Alden Gonzalez.

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff said he has understood and grasped all of head coach Sean McVay’s so far this offseason. Goff said he has learned the offense much quicker this year than he did his rookie season. McVay said he has implemented about 95% of his offense so far.
