Colts | Andrew Luck to observe minicamp

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) will be an observer in the minicamp this week, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Footballguys View: Luck had right shoulder surgery in January 2017 to repair an injury (partially torn labrum) that dated back to the 2015 season. There was no initial timetable for his return, but it’s not really a surprise the team is going to hold him out until training camp. Colts owner Jim Irsay has indicated that Luck is going to be ready for the start of the regular season.

Cowboys | Lance Lenoir signs with Dallas

Undrafted free-agent WR Lance Lenoir (Western Illinois) signed a three-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys Tuesday, June 13. TE M.J. McFarland was waived.

Footballguys View: Lenoir set school and conference records during his college career for the Leathernecks. He’s coming from FCS competition level and will face a giant leap at the pro level. Lenoir was invited to the Bears rookie minicamp after he went undrafted, but he left without a contract. He can make difficult catches above his head, and Lenoir (6’0″ 210 pounds) can be used as a kick returner as well. Lenoir is likely headed for the team’s practice squad in 2017 if he can impress.
