Titans | Eric Decker could play in preseason game

Tennessee Titans WR Eric Decker (ankle) has a chance to play in the final preseason game but a final decision has not been made, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Footballguys View: Decker doesn’t need to play in the preseason finale, so we’re not expecting the veteran to suit up. Monitor his status before Week 1 just in case you wanted him in as a flex option against the Raiders.

Jets | Bryce Petty limited Monday

New York Jets QB Bryce Petty (knee) was limited to individual drills during practice Monday, Aug. 28. He still hopes to play in the final preseason game.

Footballguys View: Petty is hoping to be the Jets second-string quarterback as Josh McCown has already been named the starter. Petty’s main competition is 2016 second-round pick Christian Hackenberg and he’s played poorly this camp and preseason. If healthy, we expect Petty to be the no2 quarterback for the Jets.
