Texans | More on DeAndre Hopkins’ extension
Updating a previous report, Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins agreed to a five-year contract extension worth $81 million, according to a source. The deal includes $49 million in guaranteed money.
Footballguys View: If we knew what to expect from Deshaun Watson or Tom Savage maybe he’d go earlier than 13th wide receiver off the board. If either of those guys performs Hopkins will way overplay his ADP.

Green Bay Packers CB Kevin King (groin) is not playing in the final preseason game Thursday, Aug. 31, because of a groin injury.
Texans | C.J. Fiedorowicz extension update
Updating a previous report, Houston Texans TE C.J. Fiedorowicz signed a three-year contract extension worth $21.5 million, according to a source. The deal includes $10 million in guaranteed money.
Footballguys View: Fiedorowicz could end up a sneaky TE2 given that there are very few options for the Texans to throw to not named Hopkins. The question is whether he will be able to do anything with an increase in opportunities.
Texans | Contract extension for DeAndre Hopkins
Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins agreed to terms on a five-year contract extension with the Texans Thursday, Aug. 31, according to sources. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the deal will include the largest guarantee for any receiver in the NFL.
Footballguys View: With a more certain quarterback situation Hopkins would be going higher than his current draft position as number 13 wide receiver off the board. If that quarterback situation straightened out, he could overplay his draft value.
