New York Giants WR Brandon Marshall (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury during the preseason game Monday, Aug. 21, and is scheduled to undergo X-rays on his shoulder.

Updating a previous report, New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) underwent X-rays on the ankle injury he suffered in the preseason game Monday, Aug. 21, and they came back negative. He is scheduled to undergo further evaluation.

Denver Broncos OT Garett Bolles will be the starting left tackle this season, according to head coach Vance Joseph.

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (hamstring) did not participate in practice Monday, Aug. 21. Davis will not be rushed back to the field because the team wants him to be ready for the start of the regular season, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Houston Texans DE Jadeveon Clowney did not participate in practice Monday, Aug. 21. Clowney has not practice in about a week, but head coach Bill O’Brien said Clowney is not injured.

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (hand) did not participate in practice Monday, Aug. 21.

Footballguys View: Hopkins has not practiced since August 9th due to this hand injury. We expect him for Week 1 of the regular season, but make sure to stay tuned to this situation as Hopkins may miss the dress rehearsal (third preseason game) this week.

Cleveland Browns LB Tank Carder (knee) left the preseason game early Monday, Aug. 21, because of a knee injury and will not return.

Miami Dolphins WR Leonte Carroo (hamstring) participated in practice Monday, Aug. 21, after missing practice last week because of a hamstring injury.

Footballguys View: Carroo, a third-round pick out of Rutgers last year, is currently buried on the depth chart as the no4 WR for the Dolphins (at best). His redraft value is non-existent, but Carroo is an interesting dynasty prospect to keep an eye on.

Miami Dolphins LB Rey Maualuga did not participate in practice Monday, Aug. 21, and will not play in the third preseason game because he is still working his way back into game shape.

Footballguys View: It’s the dress rehearsal for the regular season, but Maualuga is not ready. They’ll work him back into shape so that he can begin the regular season as a two-down run-stuffer for the defense.
