Panthers | Kelvin Benjamin receives good news

Carolina Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin (knee) learned he did not sustain any structural damage from the injury that forced him from Week 3 after receiving the results of an MRI on his left knee Monday, Sept. 25.

Footballguys View: It’s good news, but it doesn’t put Benjamin in the clear for Week 4. We should see him limited during the week of practice leading up to Sunday’s game against the Patriots.

Buccaneers | Lavonte David out a month

Updating previous reports, Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Lavonte David (ankle) is expected to miss a month or more due to a high ankle sprain an MRI confirmed Monday, Sept. 25.

Footballguys View: High ankle sprains are known to linger if not given enough time and rest to heal. David is a big time playmaker for the Bucs defense and they won’t be the same without him.
