Browns | Kenny Britt finds the end zone
Cleveland Browns WR Kenny Britt posted three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown on a game-high 10 targets in Week 3 at Indianapolis.
Browns | Duke Johnson shines in road loss
Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson rushed twice for 23 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 at Indianapolis and he added team-highs with six receptions and 81 yards on seven targets.
Footballguys View: The Browns have to get Johnson more involved as probably their best offensive play at this point. He is starting to riff with DeShone Kizer and could be a viable PPR RB2/flex going forward.
Browns | Isaiah Crowell does little again
Cleveland Browns RB Isaiah Crowell rushed 12 times for 44 yards in Week 3 at Indianapolis and he added two grabs for 10 yards on three targets.
Footballguys View: The Browns tried to get Crowell going early, but the Colts opened up a big lead and Crowell was marginalized for the rest of the game. After being drafted as a fantasy RB2, Crowell is barely startable as a flex heading into a matchup with Cincinnati.
Vikings | Adam Thielen nearly reaches 100 yards
Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught five passes for 98 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.
Footballguys View: Thielen wasn’t in many lineups today after the Vikings Week 2 struggles on offense, but that probably won’t happen again. He has turned into one of the better downfield receivers in the league, and the Vikings offense is taking a lot more shots downfield with a better offensive line. He’s a fantasy WR2 against the Lions next week.
Dolphins | Jay Cutler has mixed results in Week 3
Miami Dolphins QB Jay Cutler threw 26-of-44 for 220 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a 20-6 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday, Sept. 24.
Footballguys View: Cutler was a dud againast a generous Jets defense. Without a garbage time score, he would have only been better than Joe Flacco today. Even against the suspect Saints defense, it will be tough to plug Cutler into our lineups next week.
Vikings | Stefon Diggs scores twice
Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs caught eight passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.
Footballguys View: Diggs was outstanding and ruled a downfield passing game that was almost non-existent last week. He’s back to being a WR1 for fantasy even without Sam Bradford on the field.
Vikings | Dalvin Cook a big factor for Vikings
Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook rushed for 97 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3. He also caught five passes for 72 yards during the game.
Footballguys View: Cook was the engine of the offense on the first drive and helped the offense find their way after a tough Week 2. He’s a no brainer RB1 heading into a matchup with the Lions next week.
Vikings | Case Keenum throws three TDs
Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum went 25-for-33 for 369 yards and three touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.
Footballguys View: Keenum was a revelation after the Steelers made him look powerless to move the ball last week. The Bucs defense was stifled Mike Glennon last week, but couldn’t slow down Keenum, who might get another start next week against the Lions as the Vikings can feel like they should take their time with Sam Bradford now.
Bears | Hroniss Grasu suffers injury
Chicago Bears C Hroniss Grasu (hand) suffered a hand injury in Week 3 and is considered questionable to return.
