Jets | Week 3 status report for NYJ

New York Jets TE Will Tye (illness) and DE Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder) are questionable for Week 3. Wilkerson and FS Rontez Miles (eye) were limited participants in practice Friday, Sept. 22. Miles is listed as doubtful. OG Brian Winters (abdomen), TE Eric Tomlinson (elbow) did not practice and are out, while TE Jordan Leggett (knee) also did not practice but is doubtful. DE Leonard Williams (wrist), TE Neal Sterling (knee), DL Steve McLendon (hamstring), OL Jonotthan Harrison (concussion), RB Matt Forte (knee), LB Bruce Carter (ankle), OG James Carpenter (shoulder), OT Kelvin Beachum (knee) and WR Robby Anderson (knee) all practiced in full and are not on the injury report.

Footballguys View: Wilkerson is one of the best players left on the Jets defense. If he’s less than full strength, the Dolphins offense’s job gets even easier.

Jaguars | Week 3 injury report for Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Jaelen Strong (hamstring) and LB Lerentee McCray (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and have been ruled out for Week 3. QB Chad Henne (illness) did not practice and is listed as questionable. OT Cam Robinson (shoulder) and CB Jalen Ramsey (ankle) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. QB Blake Bortles (wrist), FS Tashaun Gipson (ankle), WR Allen Hurns (shoulder), DT Malik Jackson (groin) and C Brandon Linder (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Titans | Derrick Henry to be busy Week 3

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry is expected to get a ‘significant workload’ in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks, regardless of whether DeMarco Murray plays or not, according to ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe. Murray returned to practice as a limited participant Friday, Sept. 22, running routes and catching passes during individual drills. While Murray showed some instances of acceleration as a runner and receiver during the practice, it was far from what he would be expected to do in game action, according to Wolfe.

Footballguys View: Henry is a go for our lineups regardless of Murray’s status. Even with half of the workload, he should rate as a low-end RB2 as the Titans should prefer challenging the Seahawks run defense.

Steelers | Week 3 injury report for Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers OT Marcus Gilbert (illness, hamstring) and LB T.J. Watt (groin) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and have been ruled out for Week 3. OT Jerald Hawkins (knee) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. DE Stephon Tuitt (biceps) fully participated in practice and is listed as questionable. LB Bud Dupree (shoulder), TE Jesse James (ankle), C Maurkice Pouncey (illness), QB Ben Roethlisberger (non-injury) and FS J.J. Wilcox (concussion) fully participated in practice and are not in the injury report.
