Denver Broncos QB Paxton Lynch (shoulder) will not be a candidate to start in Week 9 because he has not practice enough due to his shoulder injury, according to head coach Vance Joseph.

Oakland Raiders RB Marshawn Lynch was not present for the Raiders’ walkthrough practice Tuesday, Oct. 31. Head coach Jack Del Rio admitted he expected Lynch to be there following the running back’s one-game suspension.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson’s contract was recently reworked in order to create more salary cap space for the recent signing of OT Duane Brown, according to a source. Wilson and the Seahawks converted $6.26 million of his 2017 base salary into a signing bonus. That money is now prorated over the remaining three seasons of his contract. The restructured deal freed up $4.17 million against Seattle’s 2017 salary cap.

Baltimore Ravens WR Griff Whalen was released Tuesday, Oct. 31. OG Marquice Shakir was promoted to the active roster in a corresponding move. Additionally, free-agents OG Jason King (Patriots) and OT Steven Moore (Titans) were signed to the practice squad.
