Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell said the Steelers have set an artificial deadline for the two sides to reach a long-term agreement. The Steelers would like an agreement before Feb. 20, which is the first day that teams can place the franchise tag on a player. Bell said the two sides could continue to negotiate after that date if nothing is agreed to in the next few weeks.

Western Michigan CB Darius Phillips (ankle) will not be able to play in the 2018 Senior Bowl because of an ankle injury.

Arizona Cardinals LB Chandler Jones said he would not have a problem moving to defensive end next season if head coach Steve Wilks decides to use a 4-3 defensive alignment.
