Los Angeles Rams impending free-agent WR Sammy Watkins could be given a franchise tag or transition tag this offseason if he and the Rams can’t agree on a long-term deal. General manager Les Snead said the Rams have contacted Watkins’ agent to discuss contract negotiations.
