Saints | Drew Brees expects to be re-signed
New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees said following the team’s Divisional Round loss opposite the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, Jan. 14, that he expects the club to re-sign him. He believes the Saints are entering ‘a window of time here where we can really make a run at it’ and expects to be part of that effort, adding that he is ‘excited for the future of Saints football.’
Titans | DeMarco Murray remains confident
Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray said he believes he is ‘definitely’ still a top-end feature back. ‘I am very confident in myself and I am excited,’ he said. ‘I am excited about the future, and my future. I know what kind of player I am.’ He added that he ‘probably’ would have been able to return from injury in the next game had the Titans not lost their Divisional Round playoff affair Saturday, Jan. 13, against the New England Patriots. Murray also mentioned that he envisioned returning to the team next season.
