NFL | Johnny Manziel working on comeback

Free-agent QB Johnny Manziel (Browns) said in an interview with ‘Good Morning America’ that aired on Monday, Feb. 12, that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder ‘about a year ago’ and has been taking medication for it. He has stopped drinking and said his goal is to make it back to the NFL. Manziel added that he’s been working out and trying to convince a team to give him a second chance. ‘I don’t know what kind of comeback it will be,’ he said. ‘But I know I want to get back on a football field to what brought me so much joy in my life and it makes me happy doing as my job.’

Buccaneers | No talks ongoing for Mike Evans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans and the Buccaneers are not currently negotiating a new deal, according to Evans’ agent. Evans’ fifth-year option was picked up last year, so he will be earning $13.2 million in 2018. Both parties will evaluate Evans’ contract when the time comes, but for now he’s going to focus on playing out his current deal, his agent added.
