Texans | Malcolm Butler of interest to DeAndre Hopkins
New England Patriots impending free-agent CB Malcolm Butler was reached out to on Twitter by Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins. Butler was benched in Super Bowl LII and is set to become a free agent this offseason.
Giants | Two coaches join Giants
Former Tennessee Titans defensive backs coach Deshea Townsend and former Chicago Bears assisnant offensive line coach Ben Wilkerson are joining the New York Giants’ coaching staff. Townsend will serve as assistant defensive backs coach and Wilkerson will serve in the same position.
Cardinals | Arizona hires two coaches
Former Cleveland Browns running backs coach Kirby Wilson and former Louisiana-Lafayette assistant coach Charlie Harbison are joining the Arizona Cardinals’ coaching staff. Wilson will serve in the same position and Harbison will serve as cornerbacks coach.

Bears | Brad Childress unretires, joins Chicago’s staff
The Chicago Bears hired former Kansas City Chiefs co-offensive coordinator and assistant head coach Brad Childress Monday, Feb. 5, to be an offensive assistant. Childress retired a week ago but will reunite with his co-offensive coordinator partner Matt Nagy in Chicago.
Patriots | Free agency decisions ahead for New England
The New England Patriots face the prospect of losing several key free agents. The Patriots have to address key impending free agents in OTs Nate Solder, Cameron Fleming and LaAdrian Waddle, along with RB Rex Burkhead, WR Danny Amendola, CB Malcolm Butler, WR/ST Matthew Slater and RB Dion Lewis. New England is projected to have approximately $17 million in salary cap space. TE Dwayne Allen, TE Martellus Bennett, DT Alan Branch, LB David Harris and RB Mike Gillislee all could be released to create more cap space.
