Browns | Cleveland won’t pursue Kirk Cousins?
The Cleveland Browns are not likely to be serious contenders to sign Washington Redskins impending free-agent QB Kirk Cousins, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Cabot believes the Browns are more likely to select a quarterback with the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and pursue a lower-tier quarterback in free agency.
Seahawks | Cliff Avril could be released
Seattle Seahawks DE Cliff Avril is a potential cap casualty this offseason, according to Brady Henderson of ESPN.com, and the Seahawks could save as much as $6.5 million in cap space for 2018 by releasing Avril.

Colts | Edwin Jackson passes away
Indianapolis Colts LB Edwin Jackson died in a car accident in Indiana Sunday, Feb. 4. Jackson was struck by a suspected drunken driver, according to Indiana State Police.
