Footballguys View: Chiefly a one-gap tackle who has some athleticism, Hill has a great nose for the football and could learn a lot from Damon Harrison before Snacks retires or moves on.
The Houston Texans selected Stanford FS Justin Reid with the 68th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Footballguys View: A smart and instinctive safety, Reid has some improving to do, but should have a role early on for the Texans defense.
Dallas Cowboys OT Connor Williams said he suffered a torn medial collateral ligament and torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee as a junior in college but is now fully recovered. ‘It’s not an issue any more,’ Williams said.
Footballguys View: If he’s fully healed, he should find some work at least on the second line for the Cowboys short term, and could very well take a starting job in the not-too-distant future. His emotional reaction to his hometown team selecting him was one of the highlights of Friday night.
The Cleveland Browns selected Miami-Florida DE Chad Thomas with the 67th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Footballguys View: Versatile enough to play in multiple fronts, Thomas can get caught up too much on the outside, and doesn’t use his hands well to move tackles out of his way. There’s a lot of talent in Cleveland, so he can come along slowly, but this was a little early for him.

Footballguys View: The Georgia defensive end has length and that plus his stride length eats up ground quickly. He can use his hands to get past offensive linemen as well. Carter needs to add more mass and muscle, especially along his base.
The Carolina Panthers selected Louisiana State CB Donte Jackson with the 55th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft Friday, April 27.
Footballguys View: Jackson is super-fast, but lacks the ball skills and cover abilities of the corners who went higher. Is a little small-framed, and may not hold up in run support.
The Cincinnati Bengals selected Wake Forest S Jessie Bates with the 54th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft Friday, April 27.
Footballguys View: He’ll step right into a large roll immediately for a secondary which needs help. Bates is a versatile safety who can hang in man coverage and make teams pay with his ball skills as well. He’s inconsistent as a tackler, sometimes opting for the big hit and not the wrap.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected North Carolina CB M.J. Stewart with the 53rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft Friday, April 27.
Footballguys View: A quick corner who isn’t speedy overall, Stewart is short (5’11”) but thick (200 pounds). He can cover, and lays the wood on ball carriers as well.
The Indianapolis Colts selected Rutgers DE Kemoko Turay with the 52nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft Friday, April 27.
Footballguys View: A raw prospect who did well for the Scarlet Knights, but he has tremendous upside and could be a real find for the Colts.
The Chicago Bears selected Memphis WR Anthony Miller with the 51st overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft Friday, April 27.
Footballguys View: A very productive, very competitive receiver who plays with a real chip on his shoulder. Played both outside and inside for Memphis, and can do both well, but had issues holding on to the ball at times.
