Free-agent RB Terrance West (Ravens) is signing an undisclosed deal with the New Orleans Saints Wednesday, June 13, according to a source.
Footballguys View: West finally finds a home as he wasn’t getting a ton of interest on the open market. A few teams (Eagles, Colts, Jaguars) brought him in to work out, but West gets a chance with the Saints now. The team is looking for veteran depth at the position behind Alvin Kamara…especially with Mark Ingram suspended the first four games of the regular season. West will compete with guys like Jonathan Williams to establish a pecking order at backup running back.

Head coach Todd Bowles has already said Darnold is an outstanding learner. Darnold said he’s focused on learning as much as he can in a relatively short amount of time.
