Jacksonville Jaguars S Cody Davis was added this offseason mainly to contribute on special teams, but he surprised the Jacksonville coaching staff with his ability to play free safety during OTAs, according to Mike Kaye of FirstCoastNews.com.
Broncos | Shane Ray will have surgery Thursday
Denver Broncos LB Shane Ray (wrist) will undergo surgery on his left wrist Thursday, June 14, according to a source.
Footballguys View: Ray’s wrist injury required three surgeries last year and he struggled playing through the injury. This year, we’ll see 2018 first-round pick Bradley Chubb likely start on the outside opposite Von Miller. The hope is that Ray only misses two or three regular season games, but he could return sooner than expected.

Broncos | Deiontrez Mount waived
Denver Broncos LB Deiontrez Mount (Achilles’) was waived with an injury designation Monday, June 11. He will revert to the Reserve/Injured list if he clears waivers. Mount tore his Achilles’ in late May.
