New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) won’t receive team repetitions this week as caution is used this spring. The team and his doctors are on the same page.

Denver Broncos RB De’Angelo Henderson (oblique) was held out of team repetitions Monday, June 11, due to a strained oblique muscle but he still participated ‘as well as he could,’ jogging through routes on the sideline during some snaps to mimic the role he would have if he was in action.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Darren Sproles is being considered by the team for kickoff-return duties due to the new kickoff rules, since it’s more like a punt return now. They’re going to see how he looks in the role later this summer.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have invited free-agent WR DeAndre Smelter (Colts) to participate in minicamp on a tryout basis, according to John Reed of the Florida Times Union.

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon was ‘catching passes left and right in OTAs’ and ‘appears nearly fully recovered from the torn MCL’ he suffered in his final year at the University of Miami (Fla.), according to The New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta, who added Herndon has been ‘impressive’ this spring.

Jacksonville Jaguars S Cody Davis was added this offseason mainly to contribute on special teams, but he surprised the Jacksonville coaching staff with his ability to play free safety during OTAs, according to Mike Kaye of FirstCoastNews.com.

Denver Broncos LB Shane Ray (wrist) will undergo surgery on his left wrist Thursday, June 14, according to a source.

Footballguys View: Ray’s wrist injury required three surgeries last year and he struggled playing through the injury. This year, we’ll see 2018 first-round pick Bradley Chubb likely start on the outside opposite Von Miller. The hope is that Ray only misses two or three regular season games, but he could return sooner than expected.

Free-agent LB Joshua Perry (Colts) was signed by the Seattle Seahawks Monday, June 11. OT Nick Callender was waived in a corresponding move.

Free-agent DB Jackson Porter (Massachusetts) was signed by the Baltimore Ravens Monday, June 11.

Denver Broncos LB Deiontrez Mount (Achilles’) was waived with an injury designation Monday, June 11. He will revert to the Reserve/Injured list if he clears waivers. Mount tore his Achilles’ in late May.
