Browns | Tyrod Taylor will not be shopped

Cleveland Browns QB Tyrod Taylor (concussion) is valued by head coach Hue Jackson and the organization and he won’t be traded to another organization. ‘He is going to be right here. He is not going anywhere,’ Jackson said Monday, Sept. 24. ‘I think that is important. Like I said, I think part of (Baker Mayfield) being able to play like he did was because of Tyrod and (Drew Stanton). I do not want to upset that room that way.’

Seahawks | HC wants Earl Thomas to practice

Seattle Seahawks FS Earl Thomas needs to practice or there will be consequences, according to head coach Pete Carroll, although he declined to say what those consequences would be. ‘There are consequences for your actions, that’s just the way it is,” Carroll said. ‘And because you (the media) don’t know about it doesn’t mean that something is not going on, and we don’t share that stuff with you because we don’t have to and there is no need to. So we just do our work on the inside and take care of business.’

Bills | Josh Allen continues to make progress

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen was praised by his offensive coordinator Brian Daboll after the Week 3 win against the Minnesota Vikings. ‘There were obviously some good things for him,’ he said. ‘(He) was good with his reads, for the most part, and made some loose plays with his feet. (There are) a lot of things to still clean up on. I think his footwork is getting better, his eye control and getting the ball out on time is getting better, but there are some good examples, like there were last week, of some things we need to clean up. (It will) continue to be a work in progress.’
