Impending free-agent DE DeMarcus Lawrence received his first contract offer from the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, Feb. 26. Executive vice president Stephen Jones said he is confident the two sides will come to an agreement, but he wasn’t sure about the timing. Dallas has until March 5 to sign a multiyear deal with Lawrence before having to place the franchise tag on him.
