Browns | Duke Johnson not being shopped

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson is staying put as the Browns have seemingly cooled on trade talks for their pass-catching running back. Head coach Freddie Kitchens said Johnson is a good football player and will have a role with the Browns.

Footballguys View: Johnson should have a role with the Browns as a pass-catching running back. Once Kareem Hunt serves his 8-game suspension, Johnson’s role could dwindle to little or nothing. Trade talks may have cooled down now for Johnson but they could heat back up around the trade deadline.

Browns | Odell Beckham should report

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to show up for the start of Cleveland’s offseason program Monday, April 1. Beckham had planned to end his offseason by April 15 before being traded to the Browns.

Footballguys View: The Browns get to start a week early because they hired a new head coach. Beckham is the no.1 wideout for the Browns with college teammate Jarvis Landry working alongside him. With Baker Mayfield running the show, the Browns have one of the most exciting offenses in the NFL.
