Carolina Panthers SS Da’Norris Searcy (concussion) will return in 2019 after spending most of the season on injured reserve, but it’s unclear where he’ll play with SS Eric Reid on the field.

Ohio State DE Nick Bosa, Washington State OT Andre Dillard, Iowa TE Noah Fant, Michigan DE Rashan Gary, Texas A&M C Erik McCoy, University of Houston NT Ed Oliver, Florida LB Jachai Polite, Alabama OT Jonah Williams and Alabama DT Quinnen Williams were the notable visitors as the New York Jets completed their top-30 pre-draft visits.

Alabama DT Quinnen Williams was picked as the top prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft by six of the 14 NFL personnel members polled by Bob McGinn of BobMcGinnFootball.com. Ohio State DE Nick Bosa was second with three first-place votes.

Missouri LB Terez Hall met with the New England Patriots leading up to the 2019 NFL Draft. The team may have wanted to check out his health since he injured his pectoral muscle and Achilles tendon this offseason.

Georgia WR Mecole Hardman had a pre-draft visit with the New England Patriots and also participated in a private workout with the team.

New York Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan is likely to draft a pass rusher with the No. 3-overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft if the Jets don’t trade down and acquire more selections.

The Washington Redskins have QBs Case Keenum and Colt McCoy, but are still in need of a long-term solution at the position, and they are expected to spend a high-round draft pick on the position this week. ‘There’s a lot of guys up there, whether we’re at (No.) 15 or we move up or we move back or what have you,’ senior vice president of player personnel Doug Williams said. ‘You’re always open. This is a quarterback league. You could never shut the door on a quarterback.’

Seattle Seahawks DE Frank Clark remains under consideration for a trade, and if a deal is struck before the start of the draft Thursday, April 25, Seattle would demand at least a first-round pick in return, according to a league source.

Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray is no longer likely to be selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, according to Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com. ‘All of a sudden, they are pulling back, and from what I’ve been told, they are going to go in a different direction,’ Prisco said. ‘They are not going to draft Kyler Murray.’

Florida Atlantic RB Devin Singletary said his private workout with the Chicago Bears focused mainly on pass routes and catching the ball out of the backfield.
