Seahawks | Russell Wilson trade a possibility?
Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson wants a new contract before April 15. If he doesn’t get one, it would be assumed the Seahawks would franchise tag him for at least one year, which would be worth roughly $30.34 million in 2020. If they did it again in 2021 and 2022, the compensation would be about $36.4 million and $52.43 million, respectively. This was enough to make former NFL head coach Jack Del Rio, who appeared as a guest recently on the NFL Network, to suggest trading Wilson is a distinct possibility.'(D)on’t be surprised if before it’s all said and done when we line up for the season next year if Russell Wilson isn’t quarterbacking somewhere else and the Seahawks haven’t gone and gotten a quarterback they think (is) the future,’ Del Rio said.
