Chiefs | Damien Williams locked in as starter
Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams is ‘our starter’ and someone the team expects to ‘excel in that role,’ according to offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
Footballguys View: Williams can do some good things as a runner and a receiver out of the backfield. Fantasy GMs are excited about what he can do in 2019. Williams is currently going off the board at RB13 (2.10) in 12-team PPR leagues. Don’t forget about Carlos Hyde, his likely backup this season. If Williams falters or gets banged up, Hyde could step in and take over. At the least, Hyde is a valuable handcuff for Fantasy GMs who play in deeper leagues.
