Texans | Jordan Thomas impressing

Houston Texans TE Jordan M. Thomas has made eye-popping and leaping catches during organized team activities. Thomas, who switched to tight end from wide receiver as a rookie last year, has had a strong offseason.

Footballguys View: Thomas was a converted wide receiver from Mississippi State as a rookie in 2018, and he is still learning the position. He’s a huge prospect, measuring in at 6’6″ 280 pounds and knows how to use his size as an advantage. A sixth-round pick for the Texans in 2018, Thomas recorded 20 catches for 215 receiving yards and four touchdowns. The upside is there for him to do a lot more. We’re monitoring him in dynasty formats and in re-draft leagues, Thomas could be a TE3 with TE2 upside in 2019.

Seahawks | Seattle signs Marcelias Sutton

Undrafted free-agent RB Marcelias Sutton (Oklahoma) signed with the Seattle Seahawks Wednesday, May 29. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The team also waived/injured RB Adam Choice (undisclosed).

Footballguys View: Sutton participated in Seattle’s rookie minicamp as a tryout player earlier this month. A junior college transfer (Lackawanna College), Sutton had 282 rushing yards and four touchdowns in two seasons with the Sooners. His senior season was cut short after six games due to a leg injury. He can contribute as a runner, receiver or return man.
