Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott doesn’t plan to give his team a hometown discount when it comes to negotiating a contract extension. He is entering the final season of his current contract but no deal appears to be imminent.

Jets | Trumaine Johnson facing big expectations

New York Jets CB Trumaine Johnson will be under ‘a significant amount of pressure’ this season, in the opinion of the New York Post’s Brian Costello, given Johnson’s large salary and uneven first season in New York that included an injury and disciplinary issues. Costello also notes that the Jets could elect to move on from Johnson after the season if he clashes with head coach Adam Gase despite taking on significant dead money.
