Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon plans to end his holdout and report to the team Thursday, Sept. 26, according to sources. He will not play in the team’s Week 4 game.

Footballguys View: Gordon will be back for the team’s Week 5 game against the Broncos. He may be eased in upon his return. Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson should both get plenty of work against the Dolphins in Week 4. When Gordon is in there, Ekeler becomes more of a flex play, Jackson goes to the bench and Gordon has RB1 potential when he’s up to full speed.

Los Angeles Chargers PK Mike Badgley (groin), WR Travis Benjamin (hip), TE Virgil Green (groin), CB Casey Hayward (back) and TE Hunter Henry (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25. CB Mike A. Davis (hamstring) was limited during practice, while LB Denzel Perryman (ankle) fully participated in practice.
