The Washington Redskins have declared QB Colt McCoy, CB Quinton Dunbar, TE Jordan Reed, OG Ross Pierschbacher, LB Cassanova McKinzy, OG Wes Martin and DL T.Y. McGill inactive for Week 3.

The Chicago Bears have declared CB Sherrick McManis, DL Bilal Nichols, OT Bobby Massie, LB Josh Woods, RB Kerrith Whyte, WR Riley Ridley and CB Kevin Toliver inactive for Week 3.

Free-agent OG Bryan Witzmann (Dolphins) signed with the Carolina Panthers Monday, Sept. 23. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The team also placed OG Brandon Greene (neck) on the Reserve/Injured list.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin (quadriceps) is considered questionable for Week 4 because of a quadriceps injury.

Footballguys View: Benjamin is the team’s No. 3 wide receiver behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. He doesn’t get that many looks with those two dominating the targets. He’s been targeted 10 times in three games and has only four catches for 17 yards in 2019.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Virgil Green (groin) is dealing with a groin injury and is considered day-to-day.

Footballguys View: The Chargers have Lance Kendricks as the main receiving tight end with Green banged up and Hunter Henry out with a knee injury. Until Henry returns (maybe in 2-4 more weeks) we won’t be too excited about a Chargers tight end.

Oakland Raiders RB Josh Jacobs is a player that the team would like to get more involved in the passing game, according to head coach Jon Gruden.

Footballguys View: Jacobs could use more work in the passing game. He’s a talented back and he’s no slouch as a receiver out of the backfield either. Jacobs, a 2019 first-round pick, has only been targeted three times in three games so far this season.

Oakland Raiders OG Gabe Jackson (knee) is not expected to participate in practice this week, according to head coach Jon Gruden.

Denver Broncos LB Josey Jewell (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 3 game and was scheduled to undergo an MRI Monday, Sept. 23.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Josh Oliver (hamstring) will participate in some individual drills during practice this week, according to head coach Doug Marrone.

Chicago Bears practice squad DT Abdullah Anderson was signed to the 53-man roster Monday, Sept. 23. The team also waived TE Bradley Sowell.
