Colts | Marlon Mack fights for 74 yards, score

Indianapolis Colts RB Marlon Mack (calf) registered 74 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons and he added two receptions for 14 yards on three targets. He was considered questionable due to a calf injury.

Footballguys View: Mack kept grinding and got a long run to help in the late stages to along with a short score earlier in the game to post a decent fantasy afternoon. As long as he’s active, he’ll be a good RB2 play against the Raiders next week.

Colts | Jacoby Brissett tosses two TDs in win

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett completed 28-of-37 passes for 310 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Footballguys View: Brissett completed his first 16 passes and was a key leader in this win. He did lose TY Hilton, which will lower this passing game’s ceiling, but he is still a viable streamer and solid QB2/Superflex against the Raiders next week.

Patriots | Phillip Dorsett catches TD pass

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett caught six passes for 53 yards and one touchdown against the New York Jets in Week 3. He was targeted seven times during the game.

Footballguys View: Dorsett might be the biggest winner in the Antonio Brown release. He scored again and should be rostered in every league, especially after Julian Edelman left with a chest injury.

Patriots | Seven receptions for Julian Edelman

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) caught seven passes for 62 yards and one touchdown against the New York Jets in Week 3 before he suffered a chest injury. He was targeted 10 times during the game.

Footballguys View: Edelman predictably got a ton of targets with Antonio Brown let go, but he didn’t last for the entire game. He’ll be a PPR WR1 as long as he plays, but it’s too early to say whether that will happen vs. Buffalo next week.

Patriots | Josh Gordon posts 83 yards

New England Patriots WR Josh Gordon caught six passes for 83 yards against the New York Jets in Week 3. He was targeted 11 times during the game.

Footballguys View: Gordon’s value is up in the wake of Antonio Brown’s release. Tom Brady was giving him chances to make plays downfield one on one in the passing game and Gordon delivered. He could get more opportunity next week if Julian Edelman’s chest injury keeps him on the sidelines.
