Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky was reaffirmed the starter by general manager Ryan Pace Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Louisiana State QB Joe Burrow will not throw at the NFL Scouting Combine this week. He also said he wouldn’t avoid playing with the Cincinnati Bengals if that’s who drafted him.

Washington Redskins OT Trent Williams’ return to the team has financial hurdles in the way. Williams is entering the final year of his five-year, $66 million extension he signed in 2015. He’s set to make $12.5 million in base salary, but none of that is guaranteed. An extension with more guaranteed money is likely the answer.

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (foot) had surgery to remove a screw from his foot, and it may limit him in the offseason program. However, he should be fine for training camp and moving forward.

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton (foot) is still the quarterback the team is moving forward with. His foot is healing well, but it will be several months until he’s game ready. That complicates a potential trade.

University of Iowa QB Nate Stanley measured 6-foot-3 3/4 inches and 235 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine on Monday, Feb. 24. He also checked in with an arm length of 32 5/8 inches, a wingspan of 78 1/4 inches and hands at 10 inches.

University of Michigan QB Shea Patterson was measured at 6-foot-0 7/8 inches and 212 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine Monday, Feb. 24. He also was measured with an arm length of 30 1/2 inches, a wingspan of 73 1/2 inches and hands at 9 3/8 inches.

Florida International QB James Morgan was measured at 6-foot-4 and 229 pounds with an arm length of 33 3/8 inches, a wingspan of 79 inches and hands at 9 3/4 inches at the NFL Scouting Combine Monday, Feb. 24.

Hawaii QB Cole McDonald was measured at 6-foot-3 1/8 and 215 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine Monday, Feb. 24. He also was measured with an arm length of 32 3/4 inches, a wingspan of 76 3/4 inches and hands at 9 3/4 inches.

Colorado QB Steven Montez was measured at 6-foot-4 and 229 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine on Monday, Feb. 24, while posting an arm length of 32 3/4 inches, a wingspan of 76 7/8 inches and hands at 9 3/8 inches.
