The Cleveland Browns hired former Denver Broncos quarterbacks coach T.C. McCartney as an offensive assistant Saturday, Feb. 8, according to a league source.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott reportedly turned down a contract extension last September which would have paid him $33 million a year, according to multiple sources, in the hopes of landing a deal which would have eclipsed the average annual value of Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson’s four-year, $140 million deal.

Free-agent WR Dez Bryant recently texted team vice president Stephen Jones saying that he would like a chance to return to the Cowboys. ‘He has texted me that he would like to come back,’ Jones said via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. ‘We have nothing but great respect for Dez and what he accomplished here. Certainly, as we look forward into the future we look at all opportunities and all potential players that could maybe help us out.’

I think (Flacco has) had an outstanding career. I thought he did a lot of good things last year, but unfortunately he was injured and couldn’t finish the season.’
