Footballguys View: Dobbins is in a logjam at the top of the running back board with Jonathan Taylor, D’Andre Swift, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He won’t do anything to better his position on the field this week.

Green Bay Packers impending free-agent LB Kyler Fackrell is not expected to re-sign with the Packers since he is looking for more playing time. Fackrell likely will look for a one-year deal this offseason so he can show what he can do with more playing time, according to a source.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston (knee) underwent surgery on a torn meniscus after the 2019 season.

Footballguys View: Winston can’t be faulted for a lack of toughness or dedication to his team. It still seems like staying with Tampa is his most likely outcome this offseason.

Louisiana State S Grant Delpit (ankle) will not participate in the drills at the NFL Scouting Combine because he is still recovering from a high ankle sprain. He said he will be ready for his Pro Day in April.

Ohio State CB and elite 2020 NFL Draft prospect Jeff Okudah said Friday, Feb. 28, that he will fully participate in workouts Sunday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Free-agent S Eric Berry (Chiefs) is poised to return after sitting out the 2019 season, and the most likely landing spot is the Indianapolis Colts, according to NFL Network reporter Jim Trotter. ‘I’ve been told that there have at least been discussions,’ Trotter said. ‘One of Eric Berry’s best friends is Justin Houston, his former teammate in Kansas City, who is now with the Colts.’

New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) will need offseason surgery on his high-ankle sprain that he incurred in the 2019 season, per a source Friday, Feb. 28.

It’s meaningful. He’s in the tops right there. I do think he can play. As I sit here right now I think he can make a real contribution to the Cowboys.’
