Vikings | Minnesota drafts Justin Jefferson

Louisiana State WR Justin Jefferson was selected by the Minnesota Vikings Thursday, April 23, with the 22nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Footballguys View: This was the pick the Vikings picked up from the Bills in the Stefon Diggs trade. Jefferson was the best receiver in this class when it came to contested catches. He’s a slot receiver who can make defenders look silly in the open field. Jefferson should be a big-play, security-blanket receiver for Kirk Cousins.

Eagles | Jalen Reagor selected by Philly

Texas Christian WR Jalen Reagor was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday, April 23, with the 21st overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Footballguys View: The Eagles were in desperate need of wide receiver help, and that’s what they get with Reagor here. He is quick and has incredible ‘my ball’ mentality. Reagor can be a dangerous receiving weapon in the NFL and a favorite target of QB Carson Wentz. He can also be a very good return man at the pro level.

Cowboys | Dallas selects CeeDee Lamb

Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb was selected by the Dallas Cowboys Thursday, April 23, with the 17th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Footballguys View: There is no way the Cowboys thought that one of the best wide receivers would fall to No.17. This hurts the fantasy value of Michael Gallup as Lamb should push for the No.2 spot opposite of Amari Cooper. Lamb has crazy body control and reminded some in the scouting community of DeAndre Hopkins.
