Buccaneers | Bucs not expected to land Trent Williams

Washington Redskins OT Trent Williams isn’t expected to be traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite rumors, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports Wednesday, April 22.

Footballguys View: We can’t really count anything out and these two teams already talked trade earlier this offseason, so don’t totally shut down the possibility of this deal. The Bucs are clearly in a win now window and #14 might be too low to take one of the top four tackles, who should all be day one starters. The Bucs could also move up in the first round to address the position. The Browns might be the front runner for Williams and if they can trade for him, they could be a team the Bucs trade up with (to #10) to get the last of the top four tackles.

Buccaneers | Rob Gronkowski near playing weight

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski told reporters Wednesday, April 22, he’s currently 250 pounds and hasn’t lost as much weight as people think.

Footballguys View: Gronkowski should be ready to go when teams get back together later this year and has plenty of time to bulk back up for his return to the NFL. He’ll be ranked in the 6-12 range with mid-low TE1 upside.
