Great player for us,’ said Spielman. Spielman said the deal was good for both the player and the team. The Vikings received a 2020 first-round pick, a 2020 fifth-round pick, a 2020 sixth-round pick and a 2021 fourth-round pick in exchange for Diggs and a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Footballguys View: The Vikings are going to be able to add a rookie wide receiver — and a damn good one — in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. This is the greatest WR draft class of all time and someone like Justin Jefferson (LSU) could fall to the Vikings. Whatever receiver they draft in the first round will take the spot of Diggs on the depth chart.
