Cowboys | Dak Prescott recently talked with DAL

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott talked with the Cowboys about his contract situation within the last two weeks, and the talks were considered positive, according to a source.

Footballguys View: The Cowboys are going to get something done with Prescott but it may not be until we get closer to the July 15th deadline to do so. Prescott was franchise tagged by the team but has not signed his tender. He’s got all the leverage and will get a contract that makes him one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the league, perhaps even the No.1 spot…before Patrick Mahomes resets the market.

49ers | Jeff Wilson signs tender

San Francisco 49ers exclusive rights free-agent RB Jeff Wilson Jr. signed his one-year tender offer Monday, April 20. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Wilson could either sign his tender or choose not to play football as ERFAs don’t have many choices. He’s a talented reserve runner but the 49ers backfield is one of the most packed rooms in all of football. Wilson will be hard pressed to make the 53-man roster.

Seahawks | Jacob Hollister signs tender

Seattle Seahawks restricted free-agent TE Jacob Hollister signed his one-year tender offer Sunday, April 19. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: The Seahawks put a second-round tender on Hollister which kept teams away from signing him. The tender gives him a one-year deal worth around $3.5 million for the 2020 season. Hollister will compete for a spot on the depth chart, likely behind Greg Olsen and Will Dissly.

Saints | Taysom Hill to participate in activities

New Orleans Saints restricted free-agent QB Taysom Hill does not plan on signing his one-year tender at this point but will participate in the virtual offseason program, according to a source.

Footballguys View: The first-round tender on Hill is worth around $4.6 million for this season. He’s going to continue as a backup to Drew Brees and jack-of-all-trades football player who can pass, catch and run with the ball.
